If you are considering joining the New Life music ministry, contact me. Our Choir sings twice a month with special seasonal presentations. Practices are every Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m.
Praise Team members are scheduled for worship music one Sunday a month, rehearsing the prior Thursday at 4 p.m.

Volunteer Opportunity
We are looking for some additional volunteers for the Cafe Team.
We need team members:
- who are available to serve May through October (at least one Sunday a month - 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.)
- who can lift a coffee pot that weighs approximately 10 lbs.
- who enjoys serving others and providing a positive "first impression" of NLCC

Ushers Ministry - HELP NEEDED!
New Life is making plans for our future. As our attendance continues to grow numerically and we have noticed when some late comers enter it is harder for them to find a seat. Therefore, we are organizing an Usher's ministry.

Greeters/Bulletin Team
Greet guests and members with a smile to make everyone feel welcome; distribute bulletins as needed. This is a fun ministry that doesn't take any extra time since you are already here. Give it a try. You'll meet other people you might not otherwise get a chance to meet.

Coordinate security measures for NLCC grounds, facilities, church services and special programs, and provide a calm, reassuring, approachable presence in an emergency. And to Ensure people receive competent, intermediate medical help while waiting for a 911 response. Both teams currently have positions available. Hands Helping Hands Ministry
With the goal to make fidget blankets and clothing protectors and others items needed for loved ones dealing with Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke patients, Hospice, etc. HHH meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 10:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. in the large room of the Fellowship Hall. No sewing experience needed. HHH is a wonderful, fun, heartfelt Ministry.
We also welcome donations of hand and dish towels, and textured and furry fabrics from anyone who would like to help.

A grief support ministry, Led by Norma Bryant
If you have lost a loved one or spouse, learning to adjust to your new reality takes time. Learning how to do that is an important tool to help you to start moving forward.
Living With Loss is a support group for those who have experienced a major loss. This is an open group, and new members are welcome. We now meeting regular again on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
Whether you are dealing with the loss of a loved one, loss of health, or loss of a loved one's health, you are welcome to attend. Each meeting lasts an hour during which information is shared about the grieving process. There is always opportunity for participants to share their feelings and experiences. But those who wish to just listen are encouraged to do so as well!
Our conversations are grounded in the love of God through Christ Jesus. For more information, please call Norma Bryant at 330-619-0826.

Small groups are a vital part of NLCC's commitment to spiritual growth. Our groups are spread throughout the community, and we encourage everyone to participate. These groups meet in host homes, at church, and online to study and discuss selected topics. We need people from all areas of the Villages so if you are able to host or facilitate a small group, please sign up at the Activity Counter in the foyer.
This is a fun and fruitful extension of church life and we have provided online training for the leaders. Please pray about getting involved.

Small Group Leader Training is now available on this website for Hosts and Facilitators of NLCC Small Groups. If you would like to be a Host or Facilitator, Click Here to submit a contact request form.

The men have their 3rd Tuesday of the month breakfast at 8 am. Men’s Tuesday morning Bible study will follow breakfast.

For all women of NLCC, opportunities for fellowship and service are planned throughout the year such as Bible studies, a Christmas luncheon, and a raffle to benefit Rapha International. Occasionally special speakers are invited or local trips are organized.
