Connie and I just signed up for fraud protection at the office of the Sumter County Clerk of the Courts. The way it works is that if our name is used in any recording activity in the Recorder’s Office we will be notified. It is free and it took me only about 2 minutes to complete the form online. I think everyone should do something like this. If you are interested, click here to Register Online. That will take you to the screen to sign up.

A few weeks ago, we launched Blessings by the Spoonful! New Life women have been busy preparing and delivering meals to some of our members who are needed comforted, just returning home from the hospital, and our own Buddy Acton who was in the hospital and rehab for 16-weeks! Now we need YOUR help!
If you prefer to help cover the cost of disposable containers and soup we are making to have on hand, you may give a check to New Life and mark it “Blessings by the Spoonful.” To be on our call list to prepare a meal from time to time, please let me know by email or signing up at the Activities Counter.
